Defiant Male Beach Volleyballers Secure Semifinal Berth

The Jamaican male beach volleyball pairs of Mark Lewis and Ryck Webb (Team A) and Christopher (Froggy) Walters and Donovan (Larry) Richards (Team B) are through to the semi-finals of the 2016 Male Olympic Beach Volleyball Qualifier being played in Trinidad.
Playing against the 3rd seeded US Virgin Island teams, the 7th seeded Jamaican pulled out a hard fought 2-1 match victory. In the first match, USVI A handed Jamaica B their first defeat 23-21, 21-15. Jamaica A then defeated USVI B 21-17, 21-14 before outlasting USVI A 15-13 in a ding dong Golden Set battle
The Jamaicans now awaits either Barbados,or Curacoa in the semifinals
